I came across this logo, while web-surfing and figured, “What if I were designing something like this…”

I didn’t want to re-invent the wheel, I wanted to stick to the primary team colors and idea, and feature the Willis Tower, with a basketball as the horizon. 

I remade the logo more dynamic by featuring the Willis Tower from a worm’s eye view, adding a couple of clouds to give it the appearance of looking up at a Chicago “SKY-scraper (pun intended)”

For the font, I wanted a bold, dynamic font that conveyed aviation, and flight.
